The black fly (buffalo gnat) season should just about be over. The dragonflies really knock down their numbers. However, mosquitos are on the increase, and, of course, there are the true flies(swamp fly?) which also bite like the dickens. At least those flies are just individuals and not a swarmming mass.

The skeeters should drop off about mid-July. By August there will be few bugs.
