Portage Description:
First portage of 3 from Four to Hudson. Nice scenic portage by rapids. Go to left after putting canoes in and look for the next portage on the left of the next set of rapids.

The middle portage is a flat, easy portage with a few big rocks to hop around. Could get a little muddy at the end with a lot of rain.**Note**portage is on the north end of the rapids McKenzie map makes it look like it is on the south. Can extend the portage another 10 rods (narrower trail through trees) if the river is rough. If you have any question this is suggested, my 2 inexperienced friends got a cold dunking in May. Experienced paddlers need not worry. Very small pond between rapids with one nice campsite.

Third portage is around a series of rapids. Portage is to the left of a very stunning rapids. Doesn't get any easier.

Lake after portage: Hudson
Known campsites: 8+
Lake Description:

Hudson was a nice lake but didn't explore/fish it much--so I can't tell you a lot about it.
