Portage Description:
Dan's description is pretty good except that this is one of the prettiest portages I have ever taken. After you climb that huge hill to the ridgeline you are in burned over area and the view of the valley and next ridgeline is outstanding. There is definitely some treachorous footing in the boggy area, lots of slick roots and rocks.
