Portage Description:
The trail from McDougall starts off through a boggy meadow for 15 rods or so. Once you hit solid ground you will head up a long hill. Once you hit the top of the hill, the rest is easy. There will be another short portage soon after to get into Eag Lake (on the left side of the narrows).

Lake Description:

Eag is shallow on it's north end. We just cut across the north bay to Cutty Creek heading towards Camel without scouting for campsites or sampling the fishing
