Season/Year: Fall 99
Water Level: average
Length: ~20 rods
Rating: easy
Additional Perspectives:

Portage Description:
Follow your ears to find the portage, it is just left of the picturesque rapids where the Kawisiwi river carries to Malberg whatever Koma can spare. Easy landing and short, pleasant carry.

Lake after portage: Koma
Known campsites: 4
Lake Description:

Koma is a shallow but sizable lake, hence, non-human anglers such as bald eagle are often seen there. More than fish lurk in the shallow waters -- Many shortcut-seeking canoeists have found themselves firmly high-centered on slightly-submerged rocks here. The peninsula campsite is the best one to watch the world from -- the remaining campsites are modest.
