Portage Description:
The landing on Sturgeon is on the small side, but it is flat. That's the only flat part. You immediately look up and see the "staircase" its about 80 meters up to a point that allows you to catch your breath before you embark on a slow downhill run which takes you to Russell. This portage is at least dry.

Russell is big, deep and clear and has plenty of really great campsites which all lead you to Chatterton falls.
